The cortado is an espresso with a small amount of milk and milk foam. Often seen as a mini cappuccino, it's a growing beverage in coffeeshops, bars and restaurants menus. It is a great alternative for people who don't like too much milk in their coffee but still want a gourmet coffee!

Recipe:

10 ml MONIN syrup
30 ml espresso
top with hot and foamy milk

Pour 10 ml of MONIN syrup in a cup or a rock glass. Pour 30 ml espresso on it. Steam the milk and pour it gently over the mix to create a latte art design.

You can use 3 types of MONIN flavours for 3 different styles:

- Classic: Salted Caramel, Vanilla, Cinnamon, White Chocolate, Macaroon

- Gourmet: Apple Pie, Chocolate Cookie, Brownie, Speculoos, Gingerbread, Chocolate Mint

- Fruity: Morello Cherry, Coconut, Apple, Blackberry, Blackcurrant, Raspberry

You can even turn your Cortado into a Mocha Cortado by adding 10 ml of MONIN Chocolate sauce or MONIN Chocolate syrup.
